We played a game called ‘Cross the River’ in Literacy this week.
Listening - First we had to listen to the sounds in words and blend them to say the word. Then the sh-ee-p, p-i-g, p-e-n, m-a-t and ch-al-k could cross the river. 💧
Reading - Next we had a go saying the sounds and blending them to read the words. 🐱🖌🔴🐔
Writing - Then we had a go using our sounds to write the words. Look at our beautiful writing! ✏️🔠
