Friday 5th March 2021 Update
5th March 2021
Dear parents/guardians
Thank you for another week of hard work and close contact with us in relation to your child’s learning. We are so proud of everyone and what we have achieved in such difficult circumstances.
I just wanted to summarise the key dates as directed by the latest guidance.
8th March-19th March
As per my letter last week, the P1-P3 children will return to school on Monday 8th March for two weeks classroom teaching. In this letter, I have already provided the necessary information to ensure a smooth return. Please look over it again to check the routines and arrangements from Monday onwards.
Remote learning will continue for P4-P7 children. Our supervised learning facility will continue for children of Key workers and those deemed vulnerable.
School is closed on 17th March for St. Patrick’s Day celebration.
22nd March-2nd April
I received EA guidance yesterday that states the return to remote learning for P1-P3 on the 22nd March is still in place. This situation remains under review by the NI Executive and is subject to change throughout March.
Easter Holidays-12 noon on 2nd April-Friday 9th April. Term 3 begins on the 12th April.
12th April onwards
P1-P3 children will return to classroom teaching after the Easter holidays on the 12th April. There has been no indication about the return date for the P4-P7 children.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
Take care
