Go Red for Ryan Day [2nd May 2025] Dear parents, We are supporting the 'Ryan McBride Foundation' fundraiser Go Red for Ryan Day on Friday 2nd May 2025. We would ask all children to wear red on the day and try to raise Β£5 sponsorship. All money raised goes back into the RMB Foundation s | Easter News P1-P7 classes finish for the Easter holidays on Thursday this week (17th April 2025) at 12 noon. Traffic in and around the school will be heavier than usual. If you wish to collect your child/children earlier, please let us know. There is no canteen service on Thursday so the children will need lunch when they get home. We return to school on Monday 28th April 2025 for our summer term.

Dear school community,

We are looking forward to another busy week at school. The staff were so proud of everyone last week. You were so brave, so cheerful, so co-operative and worked very hard to keep everyone safe. You made us smile 😊 and reminded us just how lucky we are to be part of the Chapel Road family. The school was buzzing with excitement and happy children. We hope you enjoyed it too. We want to say a special thank you to our parents, guardians, childminders and other family members or friends who made arrangements to ensure a safe drop off to school and a prompt collection. Thank you to our children who walked to school and so many of you who did this for the first time. Your efforts to help us with the return to school is much appreciated. A special thank you goes to our amazing staff too. πŸ₯°
We also welcomed our new P1 children and a number of new families. We hope you will settle in quickly and enjoy the family friendly ethos we have at CRPS. πŸ’ž

Over the next few weeks we will be reinforcing the new routines and securing timetables for these. We will also reintroduce routines such as homework so look out for details from the class teacher as each class will vary. Whilst, it is proving beneficial to communicate with the teacher by email, it is important to remember that staff are teaching between 9.00am and 3.00pm. For this reason, if you need to get a message to the teacher about appointments or early collection, you need to contact the office or email the info account. This is also the procedure to follow if your child is sick. Thank you all once again.
Please continue to keep our school community in your prayers. πŸ™πŸ»
See you in the morning.
