HELLO EVERYONE-6TH APRIL 2020

6th Apr 2020

A very special hello to everyone in our school community as we enter Holy Week and look forward to our Easter holidays. I hope you all remembered to clap for our fantastic girls and boys yesterday.

Today is a day where I have taken some time to think about the changes that have taken place over the last few weeks. I thought about how we have all worked so hard to stay at home but also to keep in touch through the various online methods we have access to.

We have enjoyed the pictures and messages from you all and will continue to provide the very best service we can. As this situation continues we will try new ideas and there is no doubt that our communications will evolve and grow- we may even send you a video message after Easter!

We are also aware that amidst all the positive pictures and messages our school community is feeling anxious and sometimes afraid. There will be many highs and lows before this situation is resolved. This is why we would encourage you to take one day at a time or even one hour at a time. We have to remember that self-care is so important if we are to remain fit and well to meet the demands that each day brings. There is no rule book for this and we are all learning to cope together. If you need support with anything and you want to reach out to us, please contact us by emailing the info account or send a message to the messenger on Facebook. If we cannot help we will try to signpost you to someone who can.

I want to thank the staff who are working daily to ensure the children get the very best remote learning available. I know they have set high standards for others and have been supporting anyone who contacts them.

keep safe and know that we are thinking about you all and keeping you in our prayers.
