Home School learning week 1

27th Mar 2020

Hello to all the lovely P2 girls and boys,

What is the weather today ?(clap, clap), what is the weather today ?(clap, clap) ……. It's sunny and cold, its sunny and cold, that is the weather today (clap, clap), that is the weather today!

I hope you are all enjoying working from home this week. It is very different to school but we will get used to it. Usually, I have 12 girls and 18 boys in the classroom but I now only have 1 little girl and 1 little boy, my children. They have been given work to do at home too so we try and keep our school routine going each day. Everyone will be doing work in their own way and that is ok. My children are making me do a workout with Joe Wicks every morning, this is good fun and a great way to start our day. I have been getting some emails from your parents too about how well you are working. This is great to hear. Please feel free to email me any pictures that we can share with each other on a Friday.

Both Lexi-Mae and Shay have been busy baking, yummy! Blaithin has been challenging herself to number of the week. Jack was first to complete a level in Teach Your Monster To Read and achieved a certificate! This really is a fun website, my own little boy has been using the TopMarks website too for playing lots of different number games.

Have a lovely weekend

Mrs Kyle

p.s. Barnaby Bear is in very safe hands staying at Olivia's house, she will do a great job at taking care of him!
