Learning about weight in Primary 1

We have been learning all about weight this week. We sorted heavy and light items into 2 sets. Then we compared the weight of 2 items using the scales. We labelled them 'heavier' and 'lighter'. We even compared presents that were all wrapped up. We didn't know what was inside and so we couldn't guess which was heavier and lighter, we had to use the scales to find out. Some of the small parcels were heavier than the big parcels!
