Easter News P1-P7 classes finish for the Easter holidays on Thursday this week (17th April 2025) at 12 noon. Traffic in and around the school will be heavier than usual. If you wish to collect your child/children earlier, please let us know. There is no canteen service on Thursday so the children will need lunch when they get home. We return to school on Monday 28th April 2025 for our summer term.

We’ve had another busy week in Literacy this week. We’ve now learnt all the letter sounds in the alphabet, including qu, where 2 letters make 1 sound. We practised writing all of our sounds using our letter formation rhymes. We sang the alphabet and made alphabet jigsaws, using our sounds to help us match pictures to the letters. We practised writing our names and even had a go writing our friends’ names! We’ve also been learning about how different animals spend Autumn preparing for Winter. We made hedgehogs and squirrels using Autumn leaves and pine cones.
