Look What We’ve Been Up To in P1 👀

In Maths this week, we ordered numbers 0-8 then matched sets, numicon and tens frames. We worked so well in our pairs/groups showing great teamwork skills.

In phonics, we made rhyming ‘o’ words using unified cubes. We made ‘fox’ then changed f to b to make ‘box’. We then changed the x to g to make bog. This led to lots of rhyming words - dog, fog, log. 🦊🎁🪵🐶

In ICT we had a go typing our names in Word and found a picture of penguins to match our facts. 🐧

We watched a Sesame Tree video in Shared Education, drew pictures of ourselves and a friend, and talked about the similarities and differences between us. 👭

In art we made silly hats and crowns to make Penguin from our story laugh. Very creative! 👑🐧

We also became different Arctic animals in our Winter role play area. 🦭🐻‍❄️

And Thankyou to Claire for our fantastic dance class on Monday! 🕺💃
