All money raised goes back into the RMB Foundation s | Easter News P1-P7 classes finish for the Easter holidays on Thursday this week (17th April 2025) at 12 noon. Traffic in and around the school will be heavier than usual. If you wish to collect your child/children earlier, please let us know. There is no canteen service on Thursday so the children will need lunch when they get home. We return to school on Monday 28th April 2025 for our summer term.

Measures in Primary 1

10th Oct 2018

We have been investigating measures in Primary 1. We have been looking at things that are tall and short (trees and people) and long and short (snakes), as well as wide and narrow (rivers and bridges) and thick and thin (worms and books). We made ourselves tall and short and wide and narrow. We made long and short necklaces and tall and short towers. We cut thick and thin ties and made thick and thin playdough snakes. We looked at the wide Craigavon Bridge and the narrow Peace Bridge. Then we drew wide and narrow bridges for the 3 Billy Goats Gruff. Then we compared the things we had made. 'My necklace is longer than your one.' 'The blue book is thicker than the red book.' 'This tower is taller than that one.'
