For Number Day we explored number sequences and patterns focusing in particular on the Fibonacci Sequence. The children explored the sequence in a fun and engaging way, using Fibonacci numbers to create their own characters. The children were able to use their imaginations by thinking about what the formation of the spiral 🌀 could represent. For example, a snails 🐌 shell. We discovered that the Fibonacci sequence is also called the ‘Golden Ratio’ and we investigated examples in real life.
