P6 learn about Diwali...

This morning we had a lovely visitor Ash, to our class to teach us about the Hindu festival of Diwali. We learned that it is commonly known as the Festival of Lights and this year it was celebrated the same day as Halloween. We made lanterns and then listened to Ash speak about how the festival is celebrated at home with traditional sweet and presents giving.
