P7 Go Back to Nature at Roe Valley
27th Oct 2016
On Wednesday 26th October '16 P7 spent a great day at Roe Valley Park in the company of naturalist Mick Conway. We learned many things, from seed dispersal to how Limavady got its name as the leap of the dog. There was a lot of walking and talking done as we tramped through native forest picking up anything from slimy mushrooms to biting beetles. The children asked many questions which Mick answered with aplomb and at the end of the session both Mick and pupils agreed that it had been a day to remember.
