Peace Proms letter for 8th November

7th Nov 2022

Dear parents/guardians,

We are looking forward to our big day in Belfast, showing everyone how great our choir is. To prepare for this trip, we wanted to share the following information with you.  Please read it and get in touch if you have any further questions.

On Tuesday 8th November 2022, Mrs Kyle accompanied by other adults will take the choir to Belfast. This is our opportunity to find out more about what we need to do and where we need to go. It will be so exciting.

We will travel by private coach. We will be leaving the school at 9.15am and we are expected to return to school no later than 4.30pm. The Friends of CRPS have very kindly offered to pay for the bus which is £350.00 so we are very thankful for their support.

All children must be dressed in full school uniform and bring a coat.

The children will need to bring a morning break and a substantial lunch including a bottle of water. If your child is in receipt of Free School Meals, a packed lunch will be provided.

IMPORTANT: We have been asked to ensure that lunches do not contain nuts or traces of nuts.

Mobile phones are not permitted.

If your child suffers from travel sickness, please let us know.

In the meantime, our goal is to learn the words to all the songs so we can then begin to enjoy them even more. It is quite a task, but we are sure we will achieve it.

The link for the songs will be shared with you via the website on the link below.

Please open and allow your child to access the songs over the Halloween break.

Kind Regards

Mrs Bacheta
