Planting sunflowers in Primary 1

This week in primary 1 we planted sunflower seeds. First we had to design a label for our pot. Then we went outside to plant. We had to fill the pot half way up with compost. Using our fingers we put a hole in the compost and put in two sunflower seeds (just to be safe!). Then we filled the rest of the pot with more compost. We had to water our plants. We are going to watch our plants grow over the next few weeks. We are excited about how tall our sunflowers will grow!
