Learning through Play in Primary 2

A selection of photographs from our playroom. Primary Two children take part in play after their lunch and linguistic phonics every day. We use a play board so that the children can view their options and select what they want to play with. We use a rota system so that a different group every day get an opportunity to select their first choice. The children now understand that they might not get the opportunity to play at their favourite area with their best friends every day. However they are beginning to realise that they can have  just as much fun at other areas playing with new friends.
