Go Red for Ryan Day [2nd May 2025] Dear parents, We are supporting the 'Ryan McBride Foundation' fundraiser Go Red for Ryan Day on Friday 2nd May 2025. We would ask all children to wear red on the day and try to raise £5 sponsorship. All money raised goes back into the RMB Foundation s | Easter News P1-P7 classes finish for the Easter holidays on Thursday this week (17th April 2025) at 12 noon. Traffic in and around the school will be heavier than usual. If you wish to collect your child/children earlier, please let us know. There is no canteen service on Thursday so the children will need lunch when they get home. We return to school on Monday 28th April 2025 for our summer term.

Traditional Tales

5th Feb 2025

Traditional tales offer a world of wonder and discovery for young children, fostering essential skills that will benefit them throughout their lives. These timeless stories nurture creativity, language skills, emotional development, and more - all in a fun and engaging way! During this topic we introduced the children to ‘Goldilocks and the three bears’, ‘The Three Little Pigs’ and ‘The Little Red Hen’. Our fun role-play area has been used in an engaging way throughout the topic to explore the meaning of each of these tales. We had great fun exploring sensory trays, role playing the story, creating artwork and then we finished off each week with a delicious cookery session.
