Week 4 Primary 2 Home Learning
Wow, another week of wonderful work from the Primary 2s!ππ»ππ»ππ»
This week we celebrated the Feast of Saint Brigid. We read the story about Brigid and her magical cloak on Wednesday. We also found out facts about Saint Brigid. Did you know she was alive at the time of Saint Patrick? βοΈ Both Killian and Moya brought their Saint Brigid crosses to the story time. Moya's Granda makes her one every year, how kind! Killian and his mum made a colourful cross with pipe cleaners, see if you can find them in the pictures. The children were great at their online quiz again. I think I will need to think of harder questions. π§πΌβοΈ
This week was also Children's Mental Health Week. I am so happy that so many of you took part in this. I saw evidence of: baking and yoga, colouring-in a beautiful pink and yellow turtle that took 2 hours of concentration and singing and dancing videos in tutus (everyone knows Mrs Kyle loves tutus). Looking after our minds as we know is so important. As today is Thankful Thursday, I would just like to let you know that I am thankful for being your teacher. I am very lucky to work with such a great bunch of girls π©π½π€π©πΌ and boys π¨πΌπ€π¨π»and am very proud of all the different types of work you are doing and sending to me. I am also thankful for our lovely Mrs White and Mrs Taylor who are continuing to work very hard with our school work.β€οΈππ§‘πππ
Have a look at these pictures of some samples of your super work. Just one more week now until our half term. You can do it!
P.S Remember last week we read The Gruffalo's Child? Well see if you can spot some images of children who met the Gruffalo himself!
Take care
