Week 6 Home Learning in Primary 2

26th Feb 2021

Well boys and girls, I think a lot of you found it a difficult week to get motivated. Do not worry about it. It is the weekend now, time to relax and you will be fresh to work on Monday again. Next week will be your last of home learning before returning to our classroom on the 8th March. It will be so wonderful to see you all back in school again and welcome our new pupil Aaliyah into our classroom. Changes have been made to our classroom where we will now bring our lunch bags and hang up our coats inside the room. Paul has been busy getting this ready and painting our cloak room.

This week I have seen lots of super work. Counting in 5s is a new concept and not easy so well done for giving this a try. I think listening to the song always helps. We also started our new topic this week and I have seen some lovely pictures of your very loved teddies. Have a look at them in the pictures. I also added some pictures from last week when a few children were making their pancakes for Pancake Tuesday. Have a look at Fionnuala's delicious carrot cake too, who wants a slice? Me!

Naya in our class went to Ness Woods for a walk and seen some frogspawn. Have a look at the picture she sent me. What a great sign that Spring is on it's way. The nights will be getting brighter and the days will be getting longer. Positive times ahead.

Enjoy your lovely weekend.

Take care.

Mrs Kyle
