Week 6 Primary 2 Home schooling
Hello boys and girls, this has been a short week as you were off on Monday and Tuesday. I hope you have been enjoying the beautiful sunshine! 🌞
I am enjoying the sunshine too. I try and do some work outside with my children. It is important to keep doing a little bit each day. Even if you don't always feel like it, set yourself a reachable goal.🏅 For example, practice key words for just 15 minutes then take a 15 minute break. ⏰ Do a page from your data handling workbook then afterwards look at data handling on Top Marks. Have another break.🍎🍌 I made a den outside with my kids and they were able to sneak inside and read their books from school 📚(see if you can spot where my little girl is hiding in the picture). You are being very responsible doing this work for both your parents and for me too, so thank you!🤩
Again I'll show you the beautiful pictures that I have been sent from Oliver, Lexi-Mae, Sophia, Oisin and Blaithin this week. A mammy messaged me to say that they love having a look at these pictures every week and seeing what the other children are getting up to.
I am very excited about next week as I am going to ask you to join me for a meeting in Microsoft Teams on either Tuesday or Wednesday. I will send your parents information about this. It means I will be able to see and talk to you on the computer, along with other children in the class.👩🏼💻 I know that this is very different and you may be unsure. I will just be saying hello and having a catch up with you. I will not be asking you about spellings or asking to see any work, just a chat. Remember in circle time if you did not want to talk you could just pass, this will be similar, you may just want to watch everyone and not talk. I would love to read you a story, as you know that's my favourite thing to do with you. Have a look at this book on YouTube, it is very funny!🖍

If you like it I have the second book at home I could read?
Like Oisin, I set up my May altar too. I am saying my Hail Mary prayer each day. I also say a Guardian Angel prayer for all of you, to help and guide you and your families.🙏🏻
God bless and take care
See you next week (fingers crossed)🤞🏻🤞🏻
